Det Ockultas Estetik *** The Aesthetics of The Occult ***

Om nätverket: Vi närmar oss det ockulta som en komplex och mångbottnad plats för transformation, jämförbar med processer som kompostering eller fermentering. Vår tematiska ram utvecklar teorier inom ekofeminism och är förankrad i begreppen hauntologi, naturens queera performativitet, ritual som form och teknomagi. Samtidigt förstår vi det ockulta som opakt, omätbart och gränslöst. Vår metodologi är icke-hierarkisk, kollektiv och processorienterad.

Det transdisciplinära nätverket möjliggör ett utbyte av kunskap och resurser och sammanför konstprofessionella och forskare från Norden, Baltikum, Irland och Nederländerna genom digitala dialoger och ett tilltänkt fysiskt symposium.

On the network: We approach the occult as a complex and layered site of transformation, comparable to processes of composting or fermentation. Our thematic framework expands on theories of ecofeminism and is grounded in the concepts of hauntology, the queer performativity of nature, ritual as form, and technomagic. At the same time, we understand the occult as opaque, immeasurable and without boundaries. Our methodology is non-hierarchical, collective and process-oriented.

The transdisciplinary network facilitates exchange of knowledge and resources, connecting art professionals and researchers across the Nordic region, the Baltics, Ireland and the Netherlands through digital dialogues and a physical symposium.
